beachschool

At the Beach School, the outdoors is our classroom offering experiences which will challenge and shape you forever!

No day is ever the same as the day before except that it's crammed full of fun, activity and easy learning. Typical activities include beach-combing, den building, nature skills and art... there's whittling and kite flying with of course, lots of running, jumping and laughing!

At night, everybody enjoys tall tales told around the cosy atmosphere of a crackling camp fire. In the day time, the space is used to team-build.

Students work together to -

  • design and make structures out of sand and pebbles
  • learn about the flora and fauna of the coastline
  • seal and bird watch

During term time we offer children, schools and individual groups the chance to learn how to love all that this beautiful coast has to offer.  Our activities build confidence, inspire self-sufficiency and lay a foundation for a life long friendship with the natural world.
